Group of IIT-K guys imprisoned in job life (Bangalore-year 2006).
We had just moved from Kanpur to bangalore and staying in one apartment,
and that time the cook was also not arranged, so we used to go outside everynite
in some restaurant (freq. Lolita's paratha point). Food was soo tasty that the Paratha
point was always crowded with ppl dying to eat. So one of the service men used to stand out side and note down the names for next booking of the tables in advance.
There was the release of bollywood movie "Omkara" in year 2006. and as desi already know
the characters "Langda Tyagi, Kesu Firangi, Omi Bhaiyya" became very famous. After watching this movie, one fine night, (we were 5 guys) and "just in mood" I booked the restaurant table with name "Tyagi family" :) so when our turn came that restaurant guy called "Tyagi family please come in." everybody in restaurant was smiling, and after that day we all were famous with "Tyagi Family" in Lolita's paratha point, and afterwards we were not supposed to book the table. The restaurant owner used to say "Tyagi Family has turned up, arrange a table for the prestigious family :)" . They all knew we were inspired by "Omkara.". So we thought of doing a formal Raajyabhishek of one of the family members as "Langda Tyagi" by "Omi Bhaiyya (Kathor)."
